Mr. Levy is an associate attorney in the Environmental Coverage Group. Mr. Levy concentrates his practice in complex insurance coverage matters related to long-tail liability claims arising from contamination at environmental sites.
Due to the cross-disciplinary nature of these matters, Mr. Levy’s work considers legal analysis of environmental and insurance issues, historical research, and risk-based assessments. He regularly conducts coverage analyses; potential claims liability and exposure investigations; forensic historical research and analysis of environmental site operations; remediation and response costs analysis; and monitoring of key legal decisions, industry trends, and environmental regulatory developments impacting the risk profiles of various stakeholders. Mr. Levy is a member of the Society of Environmental Insurance Professionals.
Prior to joining the firm as a law clerk in 2017, Mr. Levy served during law school at the United States Department of Justice (Washington, DC) and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania (Scranton, PA). During college, Mr. Levy’s historical research was published in a Pennsylvania historical society’s periodical.
Mr. Levy graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University before attending Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Levy is a member of the Pennsylvania bar.
